It’s hard to believe that this simple Italian salad has such a unique flavor from common ingredients. You have to taste it to believe it!
I grew up eating this with crusty, homemade Italian bread still piping hot from the oven. My mother served it around Christmas and into January.
Ingredients
3 oranges
Sprigs of fresh mint leaves (but dried will do)
A good drizzle of cold pressed, extra virgin olive oil
Pinch of Celtic salt
Freshly ground pepper (a must, as it makes the whole dish sing)
So easy…….
Mangia!

My health philosophy combine sound nutrition, like this delicious salad, with the curative power of homeopathy. To schedule a free 15-minute conversation with me, contact our office.
I am a homeopath with a worldwide practice working with families and individuals via Zoom. I'm also a teacher and most importantly, a mom who raised my now-adult children depending on homeopathy over the last 31 years. I lived decades of my life with food intolerances, allergies, and chemical sensitivities until I was cured with homeopathy, so I understand pain, anxiety, and suffering. You may feel that your issues are more severe or different than anyone else’s, but I have seen it all in my practice and in my work in India. My opinion is that nothing has come close to the reproducible, safe and effective results that my clients, students and I have achieved with homeopathy.

It does look really yummy…I am definitely going to make this soon!
Sounds so simple and delicious!
My mother made this only she added oil cured olives to it. We had it every Christmas. Yum!
If one is on homeopathic remedies, would they be able to eat this because it contains mint?
Mint has the potential of being an antidote for a remedy, but not necessarily. If you eat mint and your symptoms return, then you know that mint is not your friend until the need for the remedy has passed. Its also a matter of volume and the strength of the mint. A little might not interfere.
For those who are particularly sensitive to certain smells and if there’s a lot of mint, then, yes, a remedy action may indeed be antidoted. However, for many this is not a problem and I just couldn’t resist sharing one of my favorite dishes.
YUMMY! I cant wait to try it! Sounds delicious! Thanks Joette, you’re the best!
