I’m Bad

I’m just here to confess something … I’m bad.
I’m naughty.
And I like being this way.
Why am I bad?
Because I don’t comply with the rules of modern medicine nor even most complementary medical methods.
I don’t get mammograms, colonoscopies, pap smears, flu vaccines.
I don’t wear sunscreen.

But the biggest “bad” I engage in is homeopathy. Listen and let me tell you that being bad might be deviant, but it sure is fun.

And learn about two remedies that just might improve your life as they did for me.

1:30 Sinus headaches – Kali bichromium
1:45 Fibromyalgia – Rhus tox

Joette laughingI am a homeopath with a worldwide practice working with families and individuals via Zoom. I'm also a teacher and most importantly, a mom who raised my now-adult children depending on homeopathy over the last 31 years. I lived decades of my life with food intolerances, allergies, and chemical sensitivities until I was cured with homeopathy, so I understand pain, anxiety, and suffering. You may feel that your issues are more severe or different than anyone else’s, but I have seen it all in my practice and in my work in India. My opinion is that nothing has come close to the reproducible, safe and effective results that my clients, students and I have achieved with homeopathy.

Call today and learn how homeopathy might just be the missing piece in your health strategy.

Joette is not a physician and the relationship between Joette and her clients is not of prescriber and patient, but as educator and client. It is fully the client's choice whether or not to take advantage of the information Joette presents. Homeopathy doesn't "treat" an illness; it addresses the entire person as a matter of wholeness that is an educational process, not a medical one. Joette believes that the advice and diagnosis of a physician is often in order.

Joette, you and I have this so much in common. People always kinda look at me crosseyed when I say things like, “Never had a colonoscopy. Never will.” Being bad. My favorite. Noncompliance is the very best way to vote.

you must not have issues. I have ibs and have had colitis before. sometimes we need a diagnosis right?

Love this! Thank you for boldly speaking up about opting OUT of the medical conveyor belt! I’ve opted out as well and feel so much more freedom and confidence and optimism about my health and that of my family. I watched my beautiful sister-in-law succumb to cancer after a lifetime of being a perfect patient–a “good girl” of the medical conveyor belt, which had her on a lifetime of steroid asthma medications, frequent antibiotics, synthetic hormones, and yearly physicals including paps and mammograms all to have her uterine cancer completely missed until she was stage 4 and it had completely compromised her lungs. I already had one foot out the door when the medical system began mandating the ineffective and completely unnecessary flu vaccine for healthcare workers (I mean, if they’re throwing their own people under and bus for $$ what are they doing to their “regular” customers?), but seeing how the system completely failed my wonderful sister-in-law after most likely setting her up for cancer in the first place, I was done. You affirm my decision even more, Joette! Thank you! <3

I’ve lost dears ones to the machine as well. Its heart breaking and maddening. The only good we can eek from it is that it helps us identify and define what we don’t want for ourselves and others we love.
      Thanks for your supportive words.

….and you’re probably the healthiest person around! I too don’t subscribe to all conventional orders either!

Joette, I want to say a sincere thank you for everything that you are sharing. There has been nothing more that has resonated with my heart and spirit when it comes to natural health more than Homeopathy. You my dear are one of many special instruments that God uses to help His children. Thank you for being obedient to that call and providing relief to so many by sharing the truth. God bless you friend.

    1. joette calabrese says:

Many thanks for your kind words. Its folks like you who spur me on.

  7. Joette, I am bad too. But it depresses me to deal with my family because my family does not feel the way I do. I am so afraid that my son-in-law is going to die before my grandchildren get raised. I am so afraid my son-in-law won’t let me see my grandchildren anymore because he believes too much in doctors. How do you deal with the unbelieving world?

The only way I have found to convince someone of the efficacy of homeopathy or any other paradigm, is to purchase video programs on the subject. They will likely not listen to you since you’re not seen as an authority, but most well produced videos are chock full of experts. I can’t think of a particular one right now but if you google the subject and start either downloading or purchasing them in hard form, all you’re asking is that they watch along with you.

Was recently told i have loose rib syndrom. Any pressure on them and they move and its painful. What would be helpful for this issue?

  9. Sue LeMay says:

What potency of Rhus Tox did you use?

    1. joette calabrese says:

I used RT 1M at the time, but now recommend 30, every day instead.

Hello, I too subscribe to not following the conventional route. I also had FMS and did not use prescription meds and the primary method of treatment was acupuncture and herbs, as well as adjustments that I made. I no longer have FMS, although my right knee and hip do not rotate externally, and it seems that the right leg is shorter, and I need to bend my left knee for both feet to be flat on floor. I understand that the short leg is easy to resolve with Homeopathy, and wonder if it is ethical for you to suggest a remedy. Many thanks. Love your newsletter.

    1. joette calabrese says:

Homeopathy will not lengthen a leg but it certainly has a reputation for uprooting pain and swelling of such. If that is what you suffer, pls use this blog and look up my article on fibromyalgia.

  14. Claire Nigro says:

Thank you for your inspiration, My naturopathic physician also did not believe in mammograms when i asked her what she had done for prevention. So I also did not get mammograms , maybe one every 7-10 years. Now i go for thermography Last year my naturopathic passed from stage 4 breast cancer. She was my Dr for a very long time and her patients were all shocked and very saddened. So when you say you do not get mammograms is there a homeopathic remedy that makes you confidant not to have a mammo. Because even though i do not believe in Mammo’s, It is a very scary thing.
Also I do not use sunscreen, is there a homeopathic remedy for that also.
    Thanks for your info
    Claire

    1. joette calabrese says:

Everyone you know who has died of breast cancer has had mamograms. EVERYONE….except your naturopath. So did the mamogram save them? The way to feel confident about your path is to read unceasingly, ie Dr. Joseph Mercola for example is a good place to start. If I had breast cancer, Id treat it homeopathically. In that I don’t, that I’m aware of, I don’t treat it.

You might be interested in looking at my course, “Feminopathy” where you’ll learn how to treat female conditions without resorting to invasive procedures and meds, which often lead to more sobering disease in the future.
Sun screen? Just be smart. Don’t scorch yourself. Skin cancer does not result from the sun. Damaging your skin, poor diet, drugs and unlucky inheritance are the cause of skin cancer.

Thank you, Joette, for these podcasts! I would add that not only am I “bad”, but I’m MAD. Allopathic Medicine has FAILED my husband, He has had asthma since he was two, with chronic respiratory problems and a bunch of allergies/sensitivities in the package. I am done with all the antibiotics and steroids they throw at him whenever he gets sick. Gluten free diet and essential oils have not provided the cure I was hoping for, but I am excited to think that homeopathy could be the key to taking back his health after all these years (and giving our little kids a start on the right foot!) Now I just have to decide– do I start with a study group or “Allergic?!” class. 😉 Thanks again for all your work!

    1. joette calabrese says:

Unfortunately, your husband’s story isn’t rare. It is my precise story as well. It took me the 1st 30 years of my life of allergies, eczema, asthma being treated with their stuff, deepening the condition year after year to finally come around to logic.

If you’re asking me where to start, “Allergic”will teach the specifics to your husband’s conditions but its rather intense so the study group will help you get a little more understanding along the way before tackling the biggest issues.

I believe you will only gain good from homeopathy.

  16. Sandy says:

I’m bad too, but there is something about this I don’t understand. Since colon cancer is very silent, yet treatable if caught early, shouldn’t we be doing something to detect it, maybe some other type of test? Particularly if colon cancer has been in our family? At least if we detect early we can treat successfully.

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

I have it in my family too but it doesn’t cross my mind to have myself tested. My family also has uterine cancer, heart disease, Alzheimers, etc. etc. If I believed in testing when there’s nothing wrong with me for fear disease might be lurking, I wouldn’t have time to live. Instead, I’d be sitting in waiting rooms for the next test. That lifestyle isn’t for me.

“Early detection” is a way to get the doctors’ calendars filled.

  17. Dawn M Gaylor says:

I’m fifty-one. I’ve never had a mammogram, a colonoscopy, or a flue shot, and don’t plan to. I haven’t been to a doctor in, I think about fifteen years. I love to research and learn and take care of as much as I can from home.

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

Totally bad. Maybe we should start a gang or something.

  18. Danielle says:
