“Oh, no! Not another pimple!” Pippa was distraught and embarrassed by her appearance. Her skin had been lovely and clear until she turned 14.
Now her face was red with blemishes, and her complexion had become her all-consuming thought.
She was sure everyone was looking at her.
Pippa was on daily antibiotics and prescribed facial scrubs, and her doctor had recently recommended birth control pills.
His argument was almost reasonable because it promised to alleviate her menstrual pains as well, but taking birth control hormones didn’t sit well with her mother.
It seemed like killing a mosquito with a bazooka. Did Pippa really need daily doses of hormones to deal with acne?
Because appearance and self-esteem are so important in the life of a teen, the temptation to use questionable medications and hormones as quick fixes is huge, but Pippa’s mother knew that toying with the body’s regulatory systems is a dangerous game.
As one of the body’s largest and most important organs, the skin functions to eliminate waste from other areas of the body. If this critical function is suppressed by medications and topical creams, more serious consequences can result.
More importantly, tinkering with the endocrine system is a risky game, particularly at such a tender age. Have doctors forgotten this, or have they never learned it?
Pippa’s mother didn’t care. Her job was to protect her daughter from reckless advice.
Enter homeopathy.
Homeopathic remedies are by far the most reliable method for removal of recalcitrant acne. Homeopathy is gentle, safe, has no side effects and is not habit forming.
Homeopathy restores the body to health and unearths the propensity for the problem, often in spite of diet or lifestyle. (Pippa liked this part.)
Selected Homeopathic Remedies for Pimples
The Banerji Protocol for pimples is Hepar sulphuris calcareum 200C mixed with Arsenicum album 200C one dose every other day.
Pippa’s mom knew that if these remedies didn’t complete the job, that the next step was to consider a consultation with a professional homeopath who has learned from years of careful study how to choose the correct remedy for her particular case.
But that never came to fruition. Instead, they counted on this protocol.
Pippa and her mother refused the birth control drugs, stopped the medicated scrubs and eliminated all antibiotics.
Within one month, instead of red, painful, cystic lumps on her face, Pippa was left with only a smattering of smaller ones on her forehead. This improvement restored her confidence, and her old vivacious personality began to reemerge.
Over the next two months, Pippa watched her pimples slowly dissipate to a mere whisper.
Today, she is a happy teen, free from dependence on questionable drugs that didn’t work anyway, and her skin glows with inner health.
Thank you, homeopathy. Thank you, Banerji Protocol. Goodbye, feckless drugs.

I am a homeopath with a worldwide practice working with families and individuals via Zoom. I'm also a teacher and most importantly, a mom who raised my now-adult children depending on homeopathy over the last 31 years. I lived decades of my life with food intolerances, allergies, and chemical sensitivities until I was cured with homeopathy, so I understand pain, anxiety, and suffering. You may feel that your issues are more severe or different than anyone else’s, but I have seen it all in my practice and in my work in India. My opinion is that nothing has come close to the reproducible, safe and effective results that my clients, students and I have achieved with homeopathy.
Call today and learn how homeopathy might just be the missing piece in your health strategy.

It is fully the client's choice whether or not to take advantage of the information Joette presents. Homeopathy doesn't "treat" an illness; it addresses the entire person as a matter of wholeness that is an educational process, not a medical one. Joette believes that the advice and diagnosis of a physician is often in order.

While during my teens I too had a battle with acne. At the time, wished I could have convinced my mother to allow me to take antibiotics to clear it up, I know she would never have even considered birth control, and now that I am older and a mother myself, I am so thankful neither “quick fix” was used. When my children become teens, I am so glad to know there are safe ways to deal with the embarrassment of acne that will not cause long term damage.
Will this protocol work for adult acne also? I struggled with acne as a teen/young adult and used different prescriptions at that time. Once I began having children my acne went away. Then 2 years ago when my youngest turned two it slowly came back. Now it is on my neck!
Pippa is beautiful! I am so happy for her!
Joette, I am so curious to know how this Benerji protocol compares to the other homeopathic acne remedies you recommended in this previous article:
http://joettecalabrese.com/blog/homeopathy/out-out-blasted-spots
I am especially interested in adult acne for someone on a traditional/Weston Price type diet who gets flare-ups from time to time, sometimes during times of gentle detoxing.
I’ve found both to be efficacious, but what I love about the Banerji Protocol is that its easier to teach to those who have little or no understanding of homeopathy. I hope to make homeopathy less confounding and user friendly.
What do you recommend for adult acne? I have it on my face and back and would love to know what to take! Thank you!
As with Beth, I’m wondering if this protocol would work on adult flare ups when my body is slow to detoxify.
This protocol is appropriate for all ages.
More great information! I never battled acne myself, but I will store this away in case any of my children do!
Thanks!
Hi Joette, thanks for this info! How should we “mix” the remedies? In a glass of water and then sip it?
They can be mixed by either putting them together in the mouth within a few seconds of each other or add them to a few ounces of water.
Ha! “killing a mosquito with a bazooka” – – – yet so true in our society
Thanks for sharing this info, as always I learn so much.
My dear daughter has struggled with cystic acne on and off since she turned 18. Her skin has never been oily and she always follows a good cleansing routine but nothing has ever really cleared her skin. I would love to tell her about this remedy. She is now 27 and expecting her 1st child. Her acne has flared up during this time, but she is having an otherwise healthy and happy pregnancy. Is now a good time to try this protocol, or should she wIt until after delivery to begin treatment? Thank you for offering these remedies!
I wouldn’t be able to comment on whether she should use this protocol or not because I don’t know her case. But if you’re asking me if these remedies would be effective during pregnancy, it is possible that they will be correct.
Thanks Joette, very useful information.
Will this work for cystic acne? And by cystic acne, I mean dime or nickle sized cysts, not regular pimples. Thank you!
This is not the main remedy I’d consider for cystic acne, however it may be worth considering as a starter.
HI there Joette!
Been following your writings a while now 🙂 Love it all! Despite super clean diet I STILL have acne. I think hormonal based. Tried everything Ready to add this piece Can you please share where I would purchase this protocol above OR if there is another protocol specifically for hormones/acne. I was on the pill for 30 years so this is a big piece for me. THANK YOU! Much love to you for all you do and teach,
Jeni
Hi Jeni,
Thank you for your kind words.
The remedies are generally the same for hormonal skin issues, however if this doesn’t prove helpful, there are others that are specific to concomitant hormonal probelms.
If you click on the remedies above, it will direct you to purchasing the remedies.
Once they were gone, did she have to stay on the treatment? Or, once gone she was healed (except for an infrequent flare-up possibly)? Would this help in conjunction with hair loss? My 16 year old daughter is experiencing both. And, this is despite our being on a traditional/85-90% diet of organic dairy (mostly raw)/meats/veggies/fruits for 3 years. Thanks in advance for your help!
See the posting above where I discuss the length of time the remedies are used.
The protocol I used in the article does not incorporate hair loss. Should you be interested in meeting with me for a free 15 minute phone conversation, feel free to contact my office and we can discuss avenues.
Okay, thank you!
Thank you for this info! My son, who is in his mid 20’s is currently having a flare up just like the one described above. I’m going to order the remedies today!
Joette, thank you so much for posting this!
Chel
This is not related to this particular blog . Just wanted to know , can Homeopathy help in lowering elevated strep titers (ASO & Anti DNase -b ) . How can it help in curing Pandas ?
Pandas is bit more complex and wold require more in depth case taking. Feel free to contact my office to set up a free 15 minute conversation so we can discuss this.
Just wondering how often the protocol is used and for how long? Every other day, but until pimples lessen, until they disappear?
Thanks so much for sharing this story. I wish that I knew of it when I was a teen.
See the explanation a few posts above for the answer.
I am very new to homeopathy. Where do we find the stuff mentioned to clear acne? Thanks in advance!
the remedies can be purchased by clicking on the links in the body of the article.
Joette, thank you SO much for sharing! As someone who had great skin her whole life and is just NOW struggling with it in my adult years, I have been nothing but perplexed these past few years. I can’t wait to try this out!
Just to clarify: hep sulph and arsenicum 200c every other day indefinitely? (1 or 2 months possibly?) Thank you as always! X
In homeopathy, we use remedies until they act fully..always looking for the tipping point. Once the skin is clear, there’s no reason to continue. If the problem recurs, then just start up again.
The article says one dosage every other day, while the label says 5 pellets 3 times a day? What is ‘one dosage’??
Thanks, Joette!!
A dose is the number of pellets determined by the label.
In the case of the bottle you’re reading from, a dose is 5 pellets.
Ok so I had the same question. Are you doing the 5 pellets 3 times every other day? Or just 5 pellets, once every other day??
The directions are one dose (as per what the bottle tells what a dose is comprised of), every other day.
Is it a positive if acne dramatically worsen after beginning this treatment, or does that indicate this remedy is not right for me?
These protocols generally don’t cause aggravations, so if you find that that to be the case, its likely not a good choice.
Thanks for the reply, Joette. I will look into some of your other recommendations.
Would it be worth trying this protocol with the 30x potency? I have the 30x of each, but would need to order the 200.
If you use a different potency, it would best to consider it an effort in learning. It may indeed help, but if you want results and not wasted time, its better to follow the protocol to the “T”.
Thanks so much!
I think most of the teens encounter this problem during puberty. I had my fair share of breakouts and low self-esteem and even if it sucks I have learned to accept that it’s just part of growing up. I’m now happy with my skin and happy to surpass my ugly duckling stage. Haha
My 30 year old son has tried this for a month and the cystic acne has gotten much worse. Is there another protocol that might help?
Since this has not had a positive effect, there might be more involved in his case, such as food intolerances, and inherited issues. Don’t lose faith, I’ve seen even the most recalcitrant cases of acne submit to homeopath, even with allergies and inherited problems. You may either contact my office to meet with me for a 15 minute conversation to see if you’d like to pursue working with me, or wait a bit longer (perhaps a few months or so) and take my on line course on skin. I’ll be covering every detail of acne and much more, so that you may treat it yourself. I’ll be detailing food allergies and other triggers for skin problems in this course.
I just received both remedies above. Inactive ingredient: Lactose. 🙁 Not sure I should take that? I dont do well with lactose. What are your thoughts? Dose is 5 pellets of each 3 times a day (every other day) Just wanted to clarify. I am SO hopeful. My facial skin is a mess. Thanks!
If you don’t do well with lactose, then its likely the seat of the problem with your skin has to do with your gastro intestinal tract and it is simply presenting via the skin. Not uncommon. In fact, quite common in my particular practice, since I work most often with those with gut related issues.
Should you be interested in talking with me for a free 15 conversation to determine whether you want to consider using homeopathy fully, feel free to call my office.
Thanks! Okay dok! I have not had lactose/dairy, wheat, chemicals, etc.. in 10 years. Super clean diet. (In fact, that is my “job”). I think its hormone based–being on the pill for 20 plus years–off for the last 10. Continue with this remedy despite lactose OR order these remedies from Helios etc..? I am using all extra money to treat my child with homeopath that specializes in PANDAS. BUT also trying to treat myself independently–finally doing so after 9 years. Perhaps I just need to wait on me. Thanks Joette!
Almost every teenager experienced break-outs but the good thing is it will go away eventually. Homeopathy treats the person as a whole. It means that homeopathic treatment focuses on the patient as a person, as well as his pathological condition. The homeopathic medicines are selected after a full individualizing examination and case-analysis, which includes the medical history of the patient, physical and mental constitution etc.
My daughter is 8+ years old. She has pimples on her forehead and blackheads on her nose. Can i use this medicine for her.and she also complaining about her stomach ache.
How much of each at 200ck is in a dose?
The number of pills that are equivalent to a dose is written on the side of the bottle.
I started this about 2 months ago and I have been amazed by the results. 23 years old with awful hormonal acne along my cheeks and chin, I really felt like there was no hope for my face but now I am always getting comments from my friends and family about the amazing improvement on my face. I still have acne but the amount, intensity and duration of the pimples are remarkably improved. Excited to continue this protocol for more results. I order my pellets off amazon and it ends up costing me about $20/month.
It’s not surprising, but it always makes my heart sing when folks share their results with me. Yes, pls pass on the good word to friends and relatives. By the way, you’ll likely not need to use anything after awhile as the entire point of homeopathy is to root out the problem, not treat symptoms. I encourage folks to start backing off the use of the remedies (less frequent)once the improvement is established.
Just heard about you this morning on Essential Oil summit and decided to peruse your blog for acne treatment for my daughter. I am new to this. Are these pellets taken internally, swallowed like pills? The post only talked about Pippa’s story with a link to Amazon for the products but I still couldn’t find exact protocol, mode. Thank you!
yes, they are little white pills, with the number needed for one dose written on the bottle, and are taken orally.
But dissolved under the tongue. Not swallowed.
Its pretty hard to swallow these pills when put into the mouth dry. Most just suck on or chew them.
I, too, just heard about you on the EO summit. Thank you! Thank you! You have empowered me to say “No” to the antibiotics and creams that my daughter is currently on for severe acne. I felt pressured by well-meaning family members to take her to the dermatologist in the first place. I knew a little about homeopathy from a friend who told me about it for colds a few years ago, and I have successfully treated my own colds with it, but the rest of my family remains skeptical since it is so hard for me to figure out for them what their right remedy would be. I noticed that you mention elsewhere that even you have only had about 60% success before learning the Banerji protocols. For acne, my homeopathy resource books offered no suggestions, other than to see a trained homeopath, but there are none in my area. I’m going to take your advice and educate myself.
Excellent! I put a lot of effort into getting as much free information to moms on my blogs as possible. Happy reading.
Hi, Joette,
My mother is taking your Survivalist Guide Course at the moment and she said that a symptom can reappear if the remedy is taken for too long.
I took the above protocol of Arsenicum Album and Hepar Sulph after reading your Weston A Price Journal article. I was really excited to see my adult acne disappear very early on, but I kept on taking the remedies to complete the allotted 6 weeks. Unfortunately, I miscounted my weeks and took the remedy for a little under 7 wks. On this 7th week I broke out again. I am not taking the remedy anymore, but I am concerned that I have undone all the good work of the remedy by miscounting my days.
Is only one week over the protocol likely to cause a reoccurrence that will be permanent? What is your recommendation for my situation.
I am 28 and this is adult acne I have struggled with for 3-4 years.
Best, Joan
It doesn’t necessarily mean you have gone backwards. And its unlikely that you’ve undone the good. Give it more time and you may find that it may all settle out over a period of weeks without the medicines.
I have been giving my son zinc, probiotics and B6 to help with his acne. Should I continue to give him those supplements along with this protocol?
I can’t advise you specifically, but if you have found them to be ineffective, I’d certainly consider eliminating them. As for probiotics, I prefer probiotics found in foods instead. That is from kombucha, kefir, pickles, sourkraut, etc. instead of capsules.
Hi Joette, So glad I found you during the Essential Oils summit. My son, 15, has acne. I feel bad because I may have passed it on to him somehow. I’m 50 and still suffer with acne. Questions: #1 I read somewhere a person’s temperament factor into homeopathy. Does this factor in to the protocol above; #2 Can it be used for boys; and #3 when is your next Survival Guide course. I must save up for it. Thx you for all you do!
These protocols do not take temperament into consideration and they act across the board, including for boys, in approx. 80% of acne cases.
We may be offering the Survivalist Guide again within about 6 months. If you’d like Jill, our Education Coordinator can contact you when its available.
Thank you Joette. I bought the two remedies you mentioned above. Will let you know how it goes. Appreciate your help!
Brilliant, with three teen girls in the house, this will be tried asap 🙂 Thanks Joette 🙂
I do think there is one wrong sentence in your blog though:
Homeopathy is … not habit forming…
I think it is, and it is one of the best habits one can have: If things go wrong, stick with the natural stuff and well clear of generally unnecessary drugs! 🙂
Question though: does that protocol address the moods and attitudes they get into as well ??? Or is there a homeopathic remedy for that? They (my girls) drive me nuts at times 😉 Or maybe I should look at a remedy to see life a bit more relaxed 😀
Hi Joette! Thanks for this! I have been reading up on homeopathy on my own and read that remedies in the 200 potency should be administered in water? And that just because the tube of pellets says 5 pellets/dose, that one is enough? Is this what you have found? My son has acne and some dermatitis on his scalp. I was going to try these remedies on him. Thanks!
There’s no reason you need to put remedies in water as a rule of thumb. If you want reproducible results, use the number of pellets recommended on the outside of the bottle.
In one of the comments above, you said that this protocol was not the main one for cystic acne. Could you tell me would be. I have 2 boys with it and have spent thousands so far trying to clear it up. Would love to find something that worked long term
Have you given the 1st protocol its full due? If after several months you don’t see any improvement, then and only then do you go the next level.
I have the GGBG course wherein you recommend Hepar suph 200C, 2D for teenage acne in general. My son has been using this remedy (OHM 1 pellet 2D) for 8 weeks, but hasn’t seen any improvement. Does he need to give it more time or should he use hepar sulph 200C mixed with arsenicum album 200C?
When a remedy doesn’t act in even the slightest way, its time to stop its use. By doing so, you may find that perhaps there is indeed a little improvement. If its clear that there is none, the case should be reassessed and another protocol ought to be considered. If you have read my blog on acne, and it seems to fit what is happening, you might more forward with that new protocol.
Thank you!
I want to make sure that I am using the right dosage. If the remedy is from OHM then a dose=1 pellet even though the bottle says 2-5? Is this correct?
I find that OHM does such a fine job that 1 works.
Yea! I cleared most of my adult chin acne by ditching fluoridated toothpaste. The rest cleared (finally) with some hepar sulph. WhoHoo!!! for Clear Skin!!
What is OHM mentioned above? thanks!
OHM is a homeopathic pharmacy, but you may purchase on Amazon, etc.
Joette, I’m 40 years old and have battled adult hormonal acne for almost 10 yrs. I see a naturopath and am on bio-identical hormones. I’ve gotten 90% improvement but still battle breakouts during my cycle. This post recommends hepar sulphuris calcareum 200 c and arsenicum album 200c, one dose every other day. A different post on acne symptoms you suggested hepar sulph 200c twice a day. Which protocol would you suggest for adult, hormonal acne? And I’m assuming from reading the comments that I would take this protocol until I see symptoms relieved and then back off. And never take it for longer than six weeks at a time?! Homeopathy seems so simple and I am hoping that this is the answer that I have been looking for! I’m hopeful to eventually get off of the bio- identical hormone creams as well!!!
Thank you so much for all of your work!
Is there a link to a card to print off for this? I don’t see it. Thanks!
Not yet. We’re presently working on the old posts.
In another post, calc sulph and silica were recommended for acne on the back. If acne is presenting on both the face (T zone) and the back, would we be doing both the hepar sulph calc/arsenicum album + calc sulph/silica? Or would we just start with the hepar sulph/arsenicum only? Also, for the calc sulph/silica protocol, you mentioned dissolving 4 pellets of each in 4oz of water and 1 sip is equal to 1 dose. So, should the 4oz be about 3 doses? Thanks so much!!!
Hello Joette, I’d like to help my 11 year old niece with her acne using either just the Hepar Sulph or the mixture of Hepar Sulph with Arsenicum Album. She has an autoimmune disorder called neuromyelitis optica (NMO- similar to Multiple Sclerosis) and is on an immunosuppressant called Cellcept. Should I be worried about this protocol potentially triggering another attack/flair of her NMO?
This kind of case needs to be taken by an experienced homeopath.
My 18 year old daughter started this protocol the day before yesterday. She’s been feeling very anxious the last two days. Is this normal?
It’s possible that the remedy may be doing this. Usually, when symptoms become outstanding and not worth the wait, most folks abandon it.
Hi Joette, I’ve been using this remedy for about 2 weeks now and have seen no improvement. While looking through your blog and podcasts for some more insights into acne I noticed that this is the same story as one you wrote about in an Ezine article in November 2009 only with a different remedy and a different name. Is this a true story? Should I continue this protocol (Hepar Sulph 200 mixed with Arsenicum Album 200 every other day)? Should I try the Mag Mur remedy in the other article? Thanks!
When we use a protocol for a chronic condition it should be assessed in 2 months. If there’s no improvement, and I mean none whatsoever, then its time to consider another choice.
Hi Joette,
My homeopathic doctor has me on Nat Mur for acne. Should I include the Hepar Sulph and Arsenicum Album with the Nat Mur? I think my acne is mostly related to hormones. It is cystic and has started to be mostly on my cheeks, chin, neck and chest. Thank you!
Hi Joette,
My homeopathic doctor has me on Nat Mur for acne. Should I also be using the Hepar Sulph and Arsenicum Album as well as the Nat Mur. I want this acne gone! I also suffer from Melasma as well. My acne I sometimes cystic and mostly affects my cheeks, chin, jaw, neck, and chest. What would you suggest? Thanks.
Fallow what your doctor recommends. He/she knows you.
My husband has had severe inflammation/cystic acne on his nose for many, many years and has saw a few dermatologists who have said it is rosacea. No medicine has worked and he has given up trying to “cure” it. Would he try Kalibrom or silica or both? I have taken your gateway class but not real comfortable in homeopathy yet. Thanks!
If you’re looking for skin protocols and how to implement them, my course “Skin the Ugly Truth” covers that fully.
Boericke Materia Medica states that Arsenicum Album is antidoted by Hepar Sulph. Can you please explain the discrepancy?
We find that it works as a combination in spite of this.
Thank you. Could Lycopodium 200 be added to the above EOD protocol for digestive issues?
Thank you. Can Lycopodium 200 EOD be added to the above protocol to address digestion issues as well?
We often address more than one issue at a time using a protocol for each.
I took Gateway 1 and noticed the protocol for teenage acne is hepar sulph 200 mixed with Arsenicum album 200, 2D… but this blog is eod. Should I use one over the other?
We often increase frequency when there is a reason to do so. That reason might be severity or other concomitant symptoms that may be considered.
Thanks for the clarification. My family appreciates you sharing your knowledge!
You list the two things as 200 C but the links say 200 CK. Is there a difference?
They’re not exactly the same but in practical use interchangeable.
Thank you Joette. Can this protocol be used for a 14 year boy? (My son has a lot of acne on his face)
Yes.
Dear Joette, thank you so much for everything you do for us and all your brilliant advice. May I please ask whether this protocol would be effective where the main problem is blackheads rather than traditional pimples? My poor 14 year old daughter has these in nearly every pore.
Joette –
Would Hepar sulph 200 one dose EOD/ED be appropriate for an infected hair in the pantyline/groin region that has been made worse by the rubbing of clothing? Would the Arsenicum 200 be advisable, too?
No drainage, pain only with deep palpation, swollen gland near infected hair caused MDs to order clindamycin antibiotic but patient has a known cdiff history caused by past antibiotics & is trying to be avoid any further antibiotics.
Please advise & thank you.B
Thank you for the post! Does this protocol address acne found anywhere on the body, or is it specifically for facial acne? Thank you!
Generally, this protocol is specific for pimples regardless of the site.
Hi Joette, I was recently in a Q&A with you and loved it! I asked a question about my daughter using the Banerji protocol for acne which are the remedies mentioned above for Pippa. I do have a question about your protocol vs what I’m reading from the Banerji site. You say Hepar Sulph mixed with Ars EOD while I think they are saying Hepar Sulp mixed with Ars 2 times a day. Does this difference in prescribing really matter? Would one method just work faster or one just be more gentle? Thank you in advance!!
The severity of the condition as well as other conditions that need to be treated is taken into consideration when choosing one method over another. Its what I referred to in your Q&A meeting as case management. Additionally, to error on the side of a more conservative approach is always the best method when unsure.
Ok, thanks so much. 🙂
Hi Joette, it’s going on 13 weeks now and while I feel like there may be some improvement in my daughter’s skin, it’s still pretty congested with acne. We’ve been doing the HeparSulph/Ars 200 EOD with ARS 200 daily. I’m wondering if you could share your thoughts on whether it might be time to start using the Hepar Sulph/Ars every day or twice a day like the Banerji’s suggest. I’m concerned about giving her too much of the remedies but I’d like to see a bigger shift in the results as it’s been 13 weeks already or if it might be time to move on. Thank you in advance.
Are you following the case management structure that I teach in my online course Skin, the Ugly Truth? If not, you might want to know that I teach specifically how one pivots(or not) from one protocol to another and whether it’s prudent to do so.
No, but I’ve been planning on taking that course so I’ll work on getting it. lol Thank you 🙂
It will help you navigate this with more ease.
Hello. Are increased acne flare ups common when beginning this protocol? 15 yr old son seems to have more whiteheads after starting the Hep Sulph 200 + Ars Alb 200 twice daily. Thanks.
We always want to look at the overall condition over a period of many weeks. If after that time the condition has declined it is interpreted as an inappropriate medicine for that particular person and the next most common protocol needs to be considered.
Thank you, Joette. We will continue with that protocol and reevaluate at 8 weeks.
Hello again, Joette. No improvement at all over 8 weeks. If anything, acne has worsened with the protocol. I issued Camphor 200C today and am now debating between second-line protocol or Silicea 6x. Thoughts? Thanks so much.
If the 1st line doesn’t act we consider the next. If it’s still confounding I urge folks to go to my course “Skin: The Ugly Truth” so that there is a deeper understanding of how to manage a difficult case.
How much is “one dose” please?
The number of pills that comprise a dose is printed on the bottle.
Hello. Does this protocol work for cystic acne? I’ve looked into your posts regarding cysts. Thank you.
Hello. Does this protocol work for cystic acne? Son has several cysts on cheeks and nose. I’ve looked into your posts regarding cysts. Thank you.
For some, it does while for others you need a more specific medicine.
How do I find that specific remedy? I’ve searched your blog for cysts and cystic acne. I might also post on the Mighties forum. Thanks so much, Joette.
Google my name and the word “cysts” or “boils”.
Thank you so much! I am eager to try this remedy. I had gorgeous skin until about the age of 15. Then my face broke out.I had acne in groups, in large and painful bumps, and on just about every spot on my face. When my acne finally slowed (if I avoided my food intolerances) it was (is) replaced by scars. It is safe to say I try every remedy I am able and have no self confidence left. My face is a wreck. If you could recommend any remedies for acne scars I would be extremely grateful.
Thanks again! God Bless
Hi Joette
Are this 200c or 30 c for the props pimples treatment?
I’m reading Kat’s question from 2/22/21 and I have the same Q. Would love to know what to use for this. Have been scouring the internet and came up empty handed. Thank you Joette! ❤🧡💛
As previous post said, I don’t see a 200c option, only 30c. What should we do?
Order elesewehere such as from Boiron.USA or Amazon.
Potency matters.
Hi I have someone taking the above remedy but it reads as in the Banerji protocols book: 1. Hepar sulph 200 eod 2. Arsenicum album 200 1D. They don’t state to mix the remedies. Which is the correct dosage? by
There’s more than one way to approach this. Both are correct.
great thanks so much. I was just worried that my Banerji book had an error since it was purchased from Amazon.

I started the protocol of Hepar Sulph 200 and Arsenicum 200 EOD About 15 hours after the second dosage my daughter got really sick and threw up and felt like she got food poisoning. She also woke up after throwing up with a rash (not raised or itchy) on her face. Is this more likely a case of proving or might there be something her body is trying to get out. Should I continue with the protocol or is this the wrong one for her acne because of her new symptoms?
If the cause of new (and I mean NEW) symtpoms is a result of a recently introduced homeopathic medicine, it should be abandonded.
If the new symptoms were a result of an old issue returning or some other reason, a newly introduced homeopathic might not be the cause.
