“Read the Science. Raise Your Hand. Ask Your Questions. Learn the Facts.”

Many of you have asked very good questions so I know you are learning the facts.

1) I can’t see my insides … how do I know if my gut is good or bad?

The relationship between digestion and overall health is much more far-reaching than simply experiencing gastrointestinal symptoms. Various mental and physical ailments, such as ADD and autoimmune diseases, have been observed to have their origins in poor digestive health. The way you might know if an illness is related to the gut is if there are chronic problems that began after a gastrointestinal event, even years previous. Also, if foods seem to be bothersome, even if the symptoms present in remote areas such as on the skin, the respiratory tract or neurologically, it can potentially mean the gut is disturbed and is worth investigation.

2) Should I have allergy tests?

Many folks find that allergy tests given by conventional allergists are archaic and misleading, offering contradictory and even erroneous information.  What matters in homeopathy is not so much what you are allergic to, but merely the fact that you have allergies and or food intolerances.

3) How can I tell if I have a food intolerance? What causes them?

Some of the symptoms of food intolerances can include: bloating, gas, irregular bowels, moodiness, depression, anger, chronic fatigue, arthritis or any chronic condition. When we look at the research chronicled in the vast literature on homeopathy, we find that the causes of food intolerances and allergies, in general, come from a combination of inheritance along with overuse of vaccines, antibiotics and medical treatments in general.

4) What are the most common food intolerances?

Generally, food intolerances show up in the foods we also know to be the “worst” foods: commercially prepared meals and snacks, refined sugar, pasteurized dairy, but also sometimes wholesome foods such as raw dairy and heirloom grains.  However, with proper dietary management until the selected homeopathic remedies act fully, in time these sensitivities can be reduced to a mere twinge, if not completely eliminated. Our inability to handle small amounts of these allergens is a sign of immune system interruption.

5)  If antibiotic ruination of the gut is the problem, why not just use probiotics?

I certainly think probiotics can be useful and a good place to start!  Many people experience great healing from regularly consuming kombucha, sauerkraut, beet kvass, kefir, etc.  However, sometimes that is not enough. That’s when homeopathy comes in.

6) Why isn’t diet enough?

Diet should be enough. But because of processed food, vaccinations, antibiotics, bad dentistry (mercury fillings and root canals, for a start), our systems have become overloaded and more importantly, not allowed to present with normal acute illness. Conditions such as chronic fatigue, food intolerances, and other persistent conditions will begin to surface. A return to a traditional diet and a more natural lifestyle is a super start, but it is sadly often not enough. That is where homeopathy comes in; we use it to uproot what diet cannot. The results can often be remarkable.

7) How are mental disorders related to an unhealthy gut?

Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, the author of Gut and Psychology Syndrome, studied the health of hundreds of patients with autism, learning disabilities, psychiatric illness, and other problems. She found that in nearly all cases these children and adults suffered digestive problems. Her thorough investigation of this subject disclosed a stunning connection between damaged intestinal flora, meager digestion, and toxicity from chemicals created by undigested foods. She found that these characteristics can cause an effect on the chemistry of the brain.

Dr. Campbell-McBride tells us that when certain carbohydrates are digested improperly, it causes an overgrowth of candida and other microorganisms intended to remain in check. The result is a simultaneous production of acetaldehyde and ethanol.

Her research suggests that certain chemicals have been shown to negatively affect brain chemistry. This can then cause delays in emotional and intellectual advancement, as well as abnormal behavior, mental retardation, memory loss and even stupor.

Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride also makes it clear that although diet and the cessation of the use of conventional medications are key, homeopathy also ought to be employed.

8) So, what do you advocate?

I agree with the good doctor and homeopathic masters.  It makes sense that we ought to refrain from superfluous drugs, employ a most wholesome diet of nutrient-dense foods, and count on homeopathy to uproot initial and ongoing problems.  The sooner this is done, the sooner relief from chronic illness will be enjoyed.  Most importantly, the information on how to achieve this is not as elusive as it used to be.  We can learn to take care of ourselves and our families at home.  The information that I relay to folks in my Good Gut Bad Gut Class is designed to empower students of homeopathy in this specific way.

9) Do I have to have knowledge of homeopathy to learn from your course?

No! This course is designed specifically for those who have been struggling to find the answers to their chronic and gut-related problems.  However, the more knowledge you have of any subject the more you will get out of it.

I’m teaching this course using mostly the Banerji Protocol, hence sidestepping the complexity of classical homeopathic methodology.   This will allow folks with no training in homeopathy as well as those with plenty, to find this information fresh and exciting.

Don’t believe for a moment this course is too advanced. I have included a FREE 5-part PowerPoint presentation entitled, “Intro to Homeopathy” that will bring you up to speed in a jiffy!

10) Where can I get the remedies that have been used to address gut problems? Some of these remedies are not easy to find …

In this course, I tell you exactly where you can get the specific remedies, at a special student price (the savings will pay for the course over time).  Many of the Banerji protocols use combination remedies or potencies that are not commonly available, but we have worked with a homeopathic pharmacy here in the United States to make these remedies available to students who have taken this course.

I am a homeopath with a worldwide practice working with families and individuals via Zoom. I'm also a teacher and most importantly, a mom who raised my now-adult children depending on homeopathy over the last 31 years. I lived decades of my life with food intolerances, allergies, and chemical sensitivities until I was cured with homeopathy, so I understand pain, anxiety, and suffering. You may feel that your issues are more severe or different than anyone else’s, but I have seen it all in my practice and in my work in India. My opinion is that nothing has come close to the reproducible, safe and effective results that my clients, students and I have achieved with homeopathy.

Call today and learn how homeopathy might just be the missing piece in your health strategy.

As someone who’s been chronically ill for about a decade now,I’m very interested in taking this course, and I was wondering if you could offer a slightly more detailed syllabus that I could show to my husband since he is not convinced something like this would be worth the cost (and we are of course on a tight budget since we spend most of our limited income on real food and living as naturally as possible).

Any additional details that you could provide about the course would be greatly appreciated! Also, it sounds like it is self-paced. Is this correct?

Jill, our education coordinator, will contact you within the next day or so to give you further details and answer your questions.

When is the 1.5hr webminar on? Date & Time!? Or is it on going?
I wasn’t able to take the course offered last winter which was different of course and I am still trying to fit in learning more on homeopathy in our very busy schedules .This subject is a must in our family.

Thank you for your feed back!

    Isabelle 🙂

  3. Martha Miller says:

Hi Joette…I REALLY NEED AND WANT TO TAKE THIS COURSE…sadly for me I cannot affort $480, are there any discount or scholarship opportunities?? I have had BAD GUT for so many years, at least 40,…started with parasites contacted while living in Mexico and Central America…have tried everything including homeopathy…nothing has worked…PLEASE HELP ME…martha

  4. Paula A. says:

    Hi Joette,

My son and I have gut problems. I’m on the Gaps diet, but I haven’t had success putting him on the diet… We both do constitutional homeopathic treatment with an experienced practitioner. I’m always confused on when to keep with the constitutional remedy and when to opt for a protocol like the ones you’ve been talking about in your blog. Is this just a better way when you have to reach a broader audience without access to a practitioner, or is it a superior protocol altogether? My homeopath believes the constitutional protocol is more individualized. I find it so hard to make the right choices for my family’s health, especially when the information is so conflicting and our financial resources are limited.

    Thanks,

    Paula

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

      Hi Paula,

I now use this method exclusively in my daily work. It is not because I’m teaching this to the general public, but rather because it is the most curative method with reproducible results I know after my 27 years of disappointment with classical.
Certainly I saw results with classical…about 60%. There’s no comparison however to closer to a 95% results since using the Banerji Protocol.

When I presented this argument at the National Center of Homeopathy Annual Conference last year to a standing room only crowd of 500+ classical homeopaths, I was certain they’d throw tomatoes at me. Instead, they were excited with learning this themselves and some have joined my classes as a result.

I went to Calcutta to learn the Banerji Protocols as classical homeopath and Weston Price focused practitioner. It was through these lenses that I incorporated their methods not only for my daily practice, but also to teach to clients and students.

One more point. IF you don’s see results after 2 appointments with any method, look elsewhere.

  5. Debbie says:

    Hi Joette
You mentioned that the remedies are available
from a pharmacy in the US. Will they be available
to be delivered to Canada? And can you give me an idea of
the cost for the remedies. Thanks so much Debbie

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

We work with a pharmacy that delivers most anywhere in the world. Certainly to Canada. Each remedy costs anywhere from $10-$20 each depending on the potency. Should you have any further questions that require a more detailed answer, pls. feel free to contact my office and speak to Jill.

  6. Jo Pat Ozambela says:

    Hi Joette,
Since I cannot afford the $480 I am going to try to get a group together by putting up a request on a neighborhood blog. Could you please tell me how that would work? Would only one person have the coursework? I’ve had LRP for 2 years and have tried everything; My daughter has an array of food allergies that I have been trying to address since she was an infant – she is now 15. Thanks for your help.
    JP

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

Jill, our Education Coordinator will contact you via email to give you the details. ‘So happy to hear that you’re looking at homeopathy. It was the only thing that got rid of my allergies and food intollerances nearly 26 years ago. And as a result has become my specialty. You will learn much from my course as I’ve been on this path for over 30 years seeking the answers.

  7. Dipen says:

Is there any protocol for loose motion accompanied with vomiting? Please help.Thanks.

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

I love being able to offer protocols that are simple, but sometimes it takes more than one protocol. That’s why I put together this course where it will go into greater detail. Having said this, I often find that Arsenicum alb.30 can often address this.

  8. Wyld Woman says:

I would like to organise for a group of friends to share the cost of the course-it is very hefty in Australian dollars. Can someone contact me at joycegimfil@yahoo.com please thanks

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

We’ve got some ideas on how you can go about doing this. I’ll have Jill contact you.

  9. Healer says:

Does this course address diverticulitis? I suffer a couple of occurrences per year, altho I use collagen, bone broth, probiotics, vita mineral green. I do a bone broth only for a few days during a flare. I also use celletach remedy “diverticulosis”

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

      Yes, it covers it.

  10. Gaylene Kuintzle says:

so with the knowledge of the good gut bad gut course can autism be cured? or should I say more directly, can homeopathy cure autism?

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

You might be interested in reading the book The Impossible Cure, Amy Lansky.

  11. Diane F says:

Will this course help with mal-absorption with leaky gut and low stomach acid? I’ve been using diet and supplements for a year now and still having these problems which express themselves with bursitis and shingles.

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

The course covers all of these but they’re not necessarily called by those terms as they are not actually diagnostic terms.

  12. Ang says:

I’m interested in getting a group to the to study this course.Coild you send more info on how it works? Thanks!

  13. Holly A Donovan says:

Could you please tell me if there is currently a group gathering for GGBG course to perhaps help soften the fee? Not sure how much it is now but DH lost his job and we’re cutting back. However, I’ve been so gut sick for years but the added stress is putting me into a very unstable place and I can’t get my gut balanced. Thanks so much.

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

The way to get a discount on my courses is to be a member of one of the Gateway to Homeopathy study groups that are putting together a group purchase. If you’re already a member, feel free to contact my office and Eileen will help you. If you’re not a member, she can help you do that too.

  14. sona says:

does the GGBG course cover silent reflux or LPR (laryngo pharyngal reflux? which affects 60% of people with GERD? where the burning is not in the stomach or esophagus but affects the larynx/throat, and causes weak or loss of voice and inflamed larynx.
This is a very serious problem and causes great discomfort during sleep and during the day, not to mention that speaking is difficult at times. I have tried to cure this problem since a long time and do not want to take the dangerous PPI’s (proton pump inhibitors) the doctor prescribed.
I tried to find the answer on homeopathic websites, but none address LPR disease. If the GGBG course addresses this problem I will take it, even though it is right now difficult to afford.

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

Yes, it does but it’s covered under the simple heading of reflux. As soon as you dissect the name of the disease, you’ll go down a rabbit hole and not get the answer you’re looking for. Keep it simple.

  15. sona says:

Thank you, can one then use the Banerji protocol for reflux = Lyco200 and Iris ver200 along with the remedy specifically for diseases of the larynx. ie. hepar sulphuris calcareum 200 2D? taken 30 minutes after the lyco+iris?

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

When approaching these kinds of chronic conditions, I urge folks to commit to taking at least one of my courses so that it’s known how to structure a schedule, what to watch for after a certain amount of time, how to recognize what has acted and what has not and how to proceed after changes have been observed.

To answer your question, one may use more than one medicine in a schedule separated by 30 min., but case management is key to success.

  16. Yvonne Delves says:

My granddaughter is 6 months old. She is currently in hospital with Dr’s having no clue what is wrong. She had her vit k but no other jabs. Is it possible this vit k jab has caused this and if so where can I find information on how to help her. I would appreciate any assistance on this matter. I have a 5 month old granddaughter that has been in hospital for 6 days now but been extremely ill for a number of weeks. The hospital cannot pinpoint the problem. The hom has a smart meter all members of the family have been ill on and off for at least 12 months. Anyway I trying my best to find official documented research on SM dangers. My granddaughter has taken a turn for the worse and it’s touch and go if she will pull through. I’ve told the parents to discuss with Dr’s the possibility of radiation poisoning. I feel any evidence I can spend them to show Dr’s may help. I am desperate and my mind is all over the place. If anyone could lay their hands on some saved documents in regards this and post them privately or not I would be grateful 🙏

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, PHom M says:

I’m very sorry that your little grandbabe is suffering. And that you and her parents are as well.
To be honest, I would not expect that hospital staff, including the doctors, will be persuaded by articles, data, etc., presented by the grandma. I’d spend my time instead doing what it takes for when she gets home, learning how to address the condition in another manner.
