Shopping can be fun. But shopping for something specific can sometimes become frustrating.
This is especially true when looking for a precise homeopathic medicine that you or your family needs. It starts to feel like a treasure hunt, right? I understand. We’ve all been there.
With that in mind, I’ve put together this guide — your treasure map — to give you an organized starting point to help you build your collection of homeopathic medicines. This guide contains my preferred homeopathic pharmacies (the manufacturers of their specific brand) and one of the top online resellers of homeopathic products.
So, bookmark this list, and let’s get shopping!
Keep in mind: This kind of shopping is not like buying a new pair of shoes or a fresh pillow for the couch. Instead, this kind of shopping is an investment in your family’s health that will likely save you thousands of dollars in medical bills and countless hours of angst. Plus, these medicines have a reputation for remaining usable well into the future. I have bottles of homeopathics manufactured in 1918 that have remained efficacious over 100 years later! So, don’t throw them out when they get dusty.
I generally encourage the support of our American homeopathic manufacturers. However, with homeopathy under closer scrutiny by the FDA, it is more critical than ever that we show our support to our homeopathic pharmacies. We vote with our dollars — so make your voices heard.
Unfortunately, certain medicines are difficult to purchase from American companies because of tightened regulations. In those cases, one may choose to turn to the British companies listed below. But keep in mind that foreign companies cannot control what U.S. Customs allows in through the border. So, certain orders may not be guaranteed to arrive intact.
Once again, this is a reason to make your voice in support of homeopathy heard — to both the FDA and your representatives in our governing bodies.
BOIRON
https://www.boironusa.com/
Boiron, a French company has been in the pharmacy business since 1932 and established a presence in the U.S. in 1983. I count on Boiron! They are known for their ubiquitous little blue tubes found at Walmart, Wegmans, Amazon and most health food and drug stores. Use their Store Locator application to find a retailer near you or simply order from their website, where they sell the most commonly used remedies and potencies directly to the consumer. When you enter the promo code Joette at checkout, Boiron applies a 20% discount on your purchase. I might add that this is not an affiliate program offering me a kickback. The discount is given to you.
Boiron is also well known for its stellar proprietary combination medicines for various conditions. For instance, many people depend on their product for colds (ColdCalm®) and flu (Oscillococcinum®, the top-selling over-the-counter pharmacological product in France).
HAHNEMANN LABS
https://www.hahnemannlabs.com/
Located in California, they offer a large selection of medicines sold through their website. They are also well known for their product SinEcch™, sold through their marketing arm at Alpine Pharmaceuticals. Many traditional plastic surgeons depend on this branded Arnica medicine both before and after surgery.
OHM PHARMACY *LF
A professional pharmacy that only provides homeopathic remedies to practitioners, students of homeopathy, and their clients/patients — not directly to the public.
http://ohmpharma.com/
OHM is a different kind of pharmacy because they are not public retailers. Not only do they offer a wealth of homeopathic medicines in an array of potencies, but they are also a specialty compounding homeopathic pharmacy where one can buy pre-mixed combination Banerji Protocols. In addition, OHM offers lactose and sucrose-free remedies and custom-made medicines in an aqueous solution (either alcohol or water).
My clients and students (who have received their certificates upon completion of one of my courses) are able to contact OHM to order and at a discount. The discount code will be provided to you when you set up your account with OHM. The discount percentage may vary depending on whether you are a student or a client, and the type of discount offered by OHM at the time. Any questions regarding OHM discounts (once you have earned a certificate) should be directed to OHM Pharma.
WASHINGTON HOMEOPATHIC PRODUCTS *LF
https://www.homeopathyworks.com
Beginning in 1873, Washington Homeopathic has offered a wealth of homeopathic medicines in seemingly boundless potencies. They also provide a selection of refills for the 100 and 200 remedy kits previously sold through my office. (As of this writing, my office no longer has inventory available.) Washington Homeopathic also sells a vast collection of homeopathy-related books, which are definitely worth checking out.
HELIOS
https://www.helios.co.uk/
Helios is a household homeopathic name in Europe, especially in the U.K. Surprisingly, shipping costs are not as high as one would expect when shipped to the U.S. and other areas of the world. However, don’t lose hope if you need a medicine not listed on their website. In many instances, they can accommodate special requests. Contact Helios via email here: [email protected]. They respond as quickly as can be expected from a busy manufacturer and retailer, and they provide excellent customer service.
HYLAND’S HOMEOPATHIC
https://www.hylands.com/
We are lucky to have had Hyland’s as a trusted homeopathic pharmacy since 1903. You may recognize Hyland’s cell salts because they label each of the 12 cell salts in numerical order. But they are not simply a cell salt manufacturer. Here you’ll find many excellent proprietary combination medicines for both adults and children. Please note however that Hylands has recently come under new ownership which may mean nothing to customers or that there will be forthcoming changes.
AINSWORTHS
https://www.ainsworths.com/
Ainsworths is a long-standing pharmacy based in London. Through their ordering process, they make available many homeopathic medicines in a myriad of customizable formats and potencies. They also offer mother tinctures and nosodes. Plus, they additionally specialize in medicines specific to veterinary and farm use and have an interesting library of books available for purchase.
OLLOIS *LF
http://ollois.com/
Ollois, formed in 2012, offers exclusively organic and lactose-free medicines. In 2020, this American-based company merged with a French laboratory and homeopathic manufacturer. In their “seed-to-shelf” process, they now plant, grow and harvest their plant-based substances to create homeopathic medicines.
THOMPSON’S HOMEOPATHIC SUPPLIES, LTD.
http://www.thompsonshomeopathic.com/
Thompson’s, in Toronto, Ontario, was established in 1868, making it Canada’s oldest supplier of homeopathic products. They have over 154 years of experience manufacturing a wide array of homeopathic medicines according to Hahnemann’s exact standards.
*LF = Lactose-free
The reason most homeopathic medicines are made in sucrose is that sugar is stable. Nonetheless, many people wish to avoid sugar. Therefore, many pharmacies offer remedies that are sucrose-free (sugar-free). Often, these medicines are carried in liquid form. Contact the pharmacy for more information.

Paramesh Banerji Life Sciences
http://www.pblifesciences.com/
In India, the surname Banerji is as common as Smith is here in North America. However, this pharmacy is not associated with the Prasanta Banerji Homeopathic Research Foundation (PBHRF).
Take photographs of the available homeopathy at your local health food store. That way, you have a log of what is available to you locally — in case you find yourself in need at the last minute.
Your understanding of homeopathic medicines and owning the medicines you need are inextricably tied to your family’s healthcare. So, do as much as you can to learn more. Read my blogs, download the Remedy Cards, listen to my podcasts, start a Study Group with Gateway to Homeopathy or start taking my online courses. (Remember — all of my Mighties (Joette’s Mighty Members) qualify for a 10% discount on course purchases.) I want to provide you with as much education as I can so that you can make good choices for health freedom and we can keep this movement linking mother to mother, grandmother to grandmother.
I also urge you to have access to a materia medica — a listing of the homeopathic medicines along with their keynotes and other information. There are free versions of historical materia medicas available on the internet. But those can be more difficult to interpret for someone new to homeopathy. So, might I suggest a small investment in A Materia Medica: Practical Homeopathy® for Busy Families. I’ve created this easy-to-understand materia medica just for people like you — in plain English with illustrations and stories to help flesh out your knowledge.
With this list, you should be able to locate and purchase all the medicines you choose.
In closing, did you notice anything conspicuous by its absence from this list? Indeed, where is Amazon on this list? Unfortunately, I no longer recommend purchasing medicine from Amazon due to reports of cases of incorrect or even fraudulent medicines being received by students and team members.
Pass on the good news of homeopathy!
Warmly,
I am a homeopath with a worldwide practice working with families and individuals via Zoom. I'm also a teacher and most importantly, a mom who raised my now-adult children depending on homeopathy over the last 31 years. I lived decades of my life with food intolerances, allergies, and chemical sensitivities until I was cured with homeopathy, so I understand pain, anxiety, and suffering. You may feel that your issues are more severe or different than anyone else’s, but I have seen it all in my practice and in my work in India. My opinion is that nothing has come close to the reproducible, safe and effective results that my clients, students and I have achieved with homeopathy.
Call today and learn how homeopathy might just be the missing piece in your health strategy.
Joette is not a physician and the relationship between Joette and her clients is not of prescriber and patient, but as educator and client. It is fully the client's choice whether or not to take advantage of the information Joette presents. Homeopathy doesn't "treat" an illness; it addresses the entire person as a matter of wholeness that is an educational process, not a medical one. Joette believes that the advice and diagnosis of a physician is often in order.

Hello Joette,
I have deep interest in homeopathy and whenever I get time, I read your posts, which are always very informative. Nevertheless, this post deserves a special mention for the help you have extended to those who are interested in Homeopathy. …
On the list of homeopathic medicines providers, you may include distacart.com. They have arrangements with different sellers in India and they are in a position to supply medicines of different brands ( both German and Indian) which are available in India. I have found that their price is very reasonable.
Best regards,
Binay Dutta
Ahmedabad, India
( my adult children – a son & a daughter are in the USA, whom I visit once in a year).
Yes, I was wondering about distacart.com if it was a safe provider to order from here in the USA. Would like to see what Joettes opinion was on this provider! Thanks
Thank you very much for this list!
I have come across an internet rumor that Boiron does not succuss their high-potency medicines (higher than 1m). Have you heard anything like that? This got me very concerned because I’ve come to rely on Boiron’s convenient Amazon presence with a one-day shipping, when I need a remedy quickly. Of course, buying homeopathy on Amazon presents other risks, such as how those remedies are stored – whether they were exposed to high levels of EMF radiation or strong chemical smells (those who order from Amazon know that awful synthetic “fragrance” odor reeking of everything that comes from a Amazon warehouse). What are your thoughts on this, Dr. Calabrese?
Thank you!
Great Question! You could call Boiron about this. But I’m wondering, if they don’t succuss their higher potencies then how can they make them? I’ve never purchased a Boiron remedy above 1M though.
Also – I so agree with you about Amazon’s heavily perfumed packages! I noticed they slowly introduced it about 3 years ago with only the plastic envelopes. Later they introduced it in the paper envelopes, then the boxes until, just prior to 2020 and you-know-what, every single package is now treated with toxic perfumes that are nano-particle lipid-based chemicals designed to be permanent and permeate everything they touch.
Those of us who choose to avoid these toxins no longer have a choice. They are ubiquitous – they are everywhere, in plastic retail bags, liquid soap in all public restrooms, even large corporate-owned retail stores and malls pipe it very subtlety through their HVAC systems. You don’t notice it unless you smell your clothes when you get home. (I’m very sensitive to it due to lung damage so I always notice it because of how my lungs respond.)
This might sound conspiracy theory-ish,but I couldn’t help but wonder if the wide-spread use of these perfumes by the largest corporations has been part of an effort to weaken the lungs (and immune system) making us more susceptible to inflammation and viruses.
Jst a wild thought. 🤷♂️
Hi Joette – thanks for putting all this info in one place. I have ordered from Natural Health Supply in New Mexico for many years and have been extremely happy with their products. They are also known as A2Z homeopathy.
Thank you for this wonderful resource page! I would like to share a company I found as well.
https://www.iandeorganics.com/ They are LF plus sell # 1-33 cell salts plus kits.
Thank you! Great list. The one remedy that I really want to have on hand and had to buy (a few years ago) from a Canadian company is Boiron Camphora 200ck. Can you tell us if this remedy is available from an easier source? It’s such an important remedy. Thanks so much to you Joette. I’ve been following you for years and my understanding has blossomed. I’ve studied and used homeopathy for over 40 years, but with your explanations I can more easily find the correct remedy (s) that bring relief and healing. I also love the Banerji protocols. Thank you so much for keeping the spirit & soul of homeopathy alive & well. candi
All of the manufacturers I mention carry Camphora 200.
Nice list, Joette. Thanks. I’ve ordered from most of these companies at one time or another.
When I ordered from Ainsworths the first few times, I paid for a signed trackable delivery, but it was taking 6 weeks for my order to come. My postman finally told me the reason for delay was many people had to sign off on it. I stopped the tracking and the orders started coming in around 2 weeks. I was also told by Ainsworths to keep the orders on the small side. I’ve had no trouble getting my orders through customs.
Hi Joette,
What are the remedy cards to download you referenced? I tried to type it into the search bar, and look in the shop area and couldn’t find. Thank you!
Hi Tiffany. Forgive me for interjecting, but the remedy cards are available for download at the bottom of most of Joette’s blog posts (the ones in which a particular medicine is discussed). They are fun to collect — and so educational!
What about other countries manufacturers, Like Pakistan , India, Sirilanka , Bangladesh, etc.
I have great success ordering Boiron remedies through PureFormulas.com. They are very prompt, and they also give great discounts.
Thank you very much for the public list!
Thank you so much for this!!!!
Thompson’s Homeopathic supplies in Toronto, Ontario is an amazing source too. http://www.thompsonshomeopathic.com/
I often end up using Amazon when I need a remedy quickly. Boiron could prevent the independent seller problems by selling on Amazon themselves and protecting their plastic (yuk) bottles with an additional plastic bag.
I turned in a large Amazon seller to Boiron and they did nothing to correct the seller who wraps their own large, permanent, barcode labels covering the pertinent bottle-label details instead of using a small plastic bag to both hold their label and to also protect it from the heavily perfumed Amazon packaging. (The bottles arrived contaminated by the perfumes.)
I’ve started buying a couple brands more recently sold on Amazon that are only sold by the manufacturers and not sold by independent sellers, and I’ve had excellent results with the quality of these brands. They both use glass bottles and are 200 pellets per bottle vs Boiron’s 75-80.”Urenus”: provides a fairly good selection of remedies through the Amazon warehouse for quick Prime delivery, otherwise they ship from the UK, and the Amazon-shipped bottles are protected from the toxic packaging perfumes by individual plastic bags; and also “Homeomart”: provides a handful of remedies through Amazon shipping, otherwise they ship from India, and their glass bottles are protected from Amazon perfumes with a cardboard box.
Thank you for such wonderful information. Thanks also for the hint for a discount with Boiron. I also have gotten mislabeled remedies from Amazon. Love Boiron.
Fyi,regarding Urenus I emailed them back in August 2021 to ask what their source is. Their response was very quick and it was: “Our suppliers are Helios and Ainsworths.”
I can’t seem to find Jill’s website or Facebook page anymore, as I got her book used and am now wondering if I need to buy from her directly. Do you know what it is? Thanks!
Hi Anna, where did you buy from?
My chiropractor prefers remedies on lactose tablets to those on sucrose pills. Hylands is rapidly limiting what they have available for sale, and I have not been able to find any other pharmacy that sells the lactose medicines, except the few combinations by Boiron. Is there any pharmacy around who still makes your top 41 or so (from Gateway 1 book) on lactose base?
OHM Pharma, Helios, and others if you order directly from their site.
I have been ordering from Celletech in Madison Wisconsin for my family over 25 years. In the last decade they added a whole line just for the dairy industry! Not that I have dairy cows but I thought it was great, considering their location.
I’ve had excellent results ordering
Boiron medicines from http://www.Walmart.com. No shipping costs if ordering $35 or more.
Joette, Do you have any thoughts regarding homeomart.com? They are from India and come in glass bottles.
Homeomart is a retailer that buys from many sources. It’s the manufacturing pharmacy that matters, not the retailer.
Hello! Thank you for the list of places to buy remedies. Our Gateway group is wondering if the online store called “homeopathicremediesonline” is also a reputable place to obtain remedies. Their products include Banerji protocol remedies along with kits and singles. We’d appreciate your thoughts on this before we consider purchasing from them. Thank you so much!
They’re a retailer.
My discussion is on the subject of manufacturing pharmacies.
Do you or dose anyone know which pharmacy has the most “bang for your buck” vials?
Your work is voluminous
Joette, Thank you for the wonderful resources and remedies.
Dear Joette,
I am unable to find the x-ry 30c you mention in a recent posting. Please inform where we might get that.
Many thanks,
Rebecca
