The More Things Change, the More Homeopathy Stays the Same

“BREAKING NEWS!”

How often do we hear that startling alert or read it as a banner scrolling across the chyron on our television screens? How often is the news not very important or, frankly, all that “breaking?”

But worse yet, how often does this essential, new information turn out to be a complete reversal of news that previously broke?

Years ago, breaking medical news said, “Take a daily low-dose aspirin to prevent heart disease.”

Many people adhered to the advice as though it were gospel!

Well, a few weeks ago, they changed their minds.

Reversed their opinions.

Rewrote their previous recommendation. And yes, once again, it was big ol’ breaking news. The New York Times covered it; The Wall Street Journal covered it; even the AARP sent out notices to their members about it.

But it wasn’t news to me!

Over five years ago, I wrote an article for the Weston A. Price publication, “Wise Traditions,” about my father’s heart issues titled My Father and the Dead Cardiologists. In it, I discussed the complete method I employed to move my father from potentially risky allopathic medicines to homeopathy for his heart issues.

Among the concerns, I raised in my article were the dreadful side effects from the aspirin-a-day regimen my father was placed on by one particular cardiologist. The aspirin caused stomach upset and burning and ecchymoses. My father seemingly had a new black and blue spot every single day!  That tiny low-dose aspirin really did a number on him.

So, I encouraged my father to begin a homeopathic protocol I had learned from my teacher, Dr. A. U. Ramakrishnan: Arnica montana 6 twice a day instead of the despicable aspirin. (Later, I learned the Banerjis also use Arnica for the same purpose, but in the third potency.) In short order — and I do mean days — my father’s stomach problems improved and the bruises and ecchymoses disappeared.

Gentle, polite homeopathy. My father took Arnica twice daily for years and outlived one cardiologist after another!

But still, the allopathic medical community insisted patients use that aspirin-a-day prophylactically.

Why?!

Another family member of mine (because I have lots of family members, I have lots of stories) began taking a low-dose aspirin every day in the hopes of evading potential heart issues. He steadfastly believed he was doing the right thing. But instead of benefiting, he ended up suffering from another side effect of daily aspirin use: hearing loss.

What irony! He had been taking the aspirin in a misguided effort to remain as healthy as possible but now, he was forced to contend with an entirely new pathology. Thus began a cascade of specialist appointments and tests, which resulted in eventual (and expensive) hearing aids — all because of unnecessary aspirin therapy.

All that for nothing!

It’s maddening.

But now — too late for my beloved family member — the American College of Cardiologists and the American Heart Association have changed their minds.

Who can keep up?

I certainly can’t … but then again, I don’t actually care to keep up with their ever-changing positions about aspirin. To my way of thinking, the more things change, the more homeopathy stays the same. Homeopathy has been practiced for over 200 years. What worked then still works today.

So, I’ll keep using my Arnica 6.

Don’t forget to pass on the good news of homeopathy! Make this your “breaking news!”

Warmly,
Joette Calabrese
P.S. I talked more about Arnica montana in one of my Facebook Live events. If you haven’t already heard it, click here to listen to the half-hour discussion of this versatile remedy. And I encourage you to join me live as I discuss a new topic each week on Facebook. I enjoy interacting with you and answering questions if time allows. If you can’t join live, the videos are stored in my Facebook page’s video library for later listening.

P.P.S. I also encourage you, if you haven’t already, to start learning as much as you can about homeopathy. There is no reason to allow yourself to be susceptible to the latest medical breaking news du jour. By the very fact that you are here reading this, you obviously have the power to think for yourself. So, let me help you gain the confidence to do so — successfully. Study groups, guided by my Gateway to Homeopathy I curriculum, are an inexpensive, effective, and fun way to learn. I'm also a teacher and most importantly, a mom who raised my now-adult children depending on homeopathy over the last 31 years. I lived decades of my life with food intolerances, allergies, and chemical sensitivities until I was cured with homeopathy, so I understand pain, anxiety, and suffering. You may feel that your issues are more severe or different than anyone else’s, but I have seen it all in my practice and in my work in India. My opinion is that nothing has come close to the reproducible, safe and effective results that my clients, students and I have achieved with homeopathy.

Call today and learn how homeopathy might just be the missing piece in your health strategy.

Homeopathy doesn't "treat" an illness; it addresses the entire person as a matter of wholeness that is an educational process, not a medical one.
