“Joette! Help!” That was the beginning of a message I received from one of my staff members last spring. “The rain has left my basement perpetually damp and my allergy to the mildew is consuming my life!”
She could not do her basic day-to-day tasks, which included homeschooling her 4 children. For too many days she had to give them the day off because even sitting down to read with them was a burden.
She needed to do something, and she knew that turning to the likes of Benadryl was not only a band-aid, but it (like all over-the-counter and prescription medication) would drive the illness deeper. (more…)
Confession time.
I used to smoke cigarettes … for years, even. The first time I tried, I felt nauseous.
Well, to be honest, it was more like the first few months that I forced myself to withstand that dreadful feeling.
Such is the power of peer pressure and the silliness of those teenage years. Indeed, peer pressure is what I caution families (and my own kids) against on a regular basis.

I love the name of this disease.
It kinda says it all since the rash often appears on the hands, feet, and in and around the mouth.
However, rashes can also appear on the buttocks, knees, elbows, and cause ulcers in the throat. But adding all those details would make the name waaay too long!

One of the reasons you should start your study group NOW (and not wait until next week or next month) is because illness will surely not wait around for you to become prepared! (more…)
One of my students, Annie, told me about a conversation she had with her 11-year-old son, who had been suffering from repeated ingrown toenails. This took place about a year ago, before she found homeopathy. (more…)

It is my goal to bring homeopathy into the homes of hundreds of families, and this curriculum is indeed your GATEWAY into my world of healing. (more…)
If I could just draw a picture that depicts how busy I have been lately, you would likely see an image of me wearing track shoes, sprinting through a web of family, clients, and projects involving my mission to spread homeopathy to families.
As I sprint, I would be juggling my new waterproof laptop (I spilled tea on my last one), my homeopathy kit, my calendar, and of course, a glass of raw milk.
But when it is time for bed, I sleep soundly as I recharge for the next day. (more…)
