It’s the Apocalypse!!

Survival Medicine, Joette Calabrese

That title, folks, is an example of “clickbait.”

Never heard that term before? Clickbait is when internet sites use sensational, inflammatory, or frightening titles to compel you to click through to their articles. And it’s not just a tool used by illegitimate sites. Mainstream media is just as guilty. Actually, they’re the leaders in this tactic.

Let’s face it, FEAR SELLS.

And now, more than ever, we live in an environment perpetuating fear.

At this writing, my husband and I are attending a 3-day conference in Nashville, Tennessee. This means we’re staying in a hotel room. Now, we don’t own a television back home so for a change of pace, we clicked it on our first night here.

All I can say is wow!

I’m flabbergasted by how much attention ABC, CBS, NBC, CSNBC, and CNN are giving THE PANDEMIC. The deaths, the numbers, the doctors. Now I understand more than ever why I see such panic in the eyes above all the masks walking around.

Now, it is clear to me just how much fear has been hammered into people. It is not the virus, but the FEAR, that has infected the population.

And it is grotesque.

It is distorted.

It is depressing.

It is saddening.

The reason I’ve been so far removed is not just because I don’t own a television, but because I’ve seen far more serious illness in my practice, in my life, and in the clinic in Kolkata. I also have something bigger and better on my side; something that eliminates fear rather than stimulates it.

I have homeopathy which gives me perspective. Perhaps my upbeat personality and positive outlook on life help, too.

Instead of panic, I have confidence. And those who follow me and work with me have the same.

We are self-sufficient. We are emboldened. I actually feel (excuse my candor) even a little smug.

Recently, one of my team members alerted me to a headline out of Lake Tahoe, California: Bubonic Plague Warning in Lake Tahoe.

Oh, for crying out loud.

Upon further investigation — albeit cursory Googling — it would seem that there was one case of human transmission (from fleas and rodents suspected of carrying the disease).

But it does give one pause to think of preparedness … especially in this year of  panic-driven events.

Homeopathy is the very definition of preparedness. It provides effective, polite, autonomous health care at all times, but is especially pertinent when the chips are down. Wildfires, hurricanes, floods, pandemics and disease? Homeopathy has proven over the last 230 years to provide answers to the problems that can result. There are established protocols for smoke inhalation, burns, mold allergies, viruses and — good grief — even the plague.

Perhaps now, more than ever is an appropriate time for me to remind you of my course, The Survivalist Guide to Homeopathy

While I recommend you read about my Guide – may I email you the infographic I designed for this course? (It was downloaded 4757 times in the first few days of its original launching.)

23 Homeopathic Remedies for When Disaster Strikes

When the World Trade Towers fell on September 11, 2001, most everyone in the Buffalo, New York, area (where I lived) assumed that Niagara Falls would be next — in order to take out the power to the entire Great Lakes region. Talk about fear! Buffalonians were in a panic.

At the time, I was teaching homeopathy every night to a different group in a different location. One class asked me, “What do we need to have on hand in case of another 9/11?”

That question resonated with me.

Coincidentally, I was taking a post-graduate course in homeopathy in Toronto at the time. To participate in the class, each of us was required to have at least 5 years in practice. My fellow scholars were highly skilled practitioners — many doctors — from all around the world.

So, I asked them for their particular protocols.

What did they use in their practices to address the disasters unique to their areas?

Everyone had something unique to bring to the conversation. For instance, the doctor from Northern Ireland immediately contributed a homeopathic protocol for addressing injury from Molotov cocktails — a signature weapon used during that war.

My classmates were an amazing international resource.

In addition to their input, I began my own research into epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters and even lightning. I researched any extreme situation one might have to deal with alone — without the benefit of dialing 911 and, depending on the circumstance, perhaps without doctors, hospitals, or drug stores.

But as time passed, everyone got comfortable again.  Including me. The unthinkable became just that — something we didn’t think about.

Years later, Lara, one of my team members, was digging through my files when she unearthed the file I had worked so diligently on — about 6-8 inches thick — tucked in the back of my filing cabinet. “What's this?”  she asked me.  “This does not belong tucked away in the bowels of a file cabinet! We must get this out there and now!”

And the idea of The Survivalist Guide to Homeopathy was born.

As I traveled to India, I eventually added the Banerji Protocols — as far as I know, the most extensively researched protocols out there. The Drs. Banerji had successfully treated malaria, plague, leprosy, tuberculosis. Almost anything you can think of.

So, I added it all … everything including the kitchen sink and the plumber!

The Survivalist Guide to Homeopathy is my most expensive course, but it is also my most comprehensive. It consists of not only video webinars but also 4 DVDs and a thick 3-ring binder to hold 386 pages of course information (in case the internet is not available or you’re in the field when you need a reference).

No fluff. Well, that’s my method anyway. I NEVER offer fluff.

And I consider it my magnum opus, and the course of which I am most proud.

One might assume from the title that it’s only for extreme “survivalist” situations. Not so. Surprisingly, it is perhaps one of my most useful courses for everyday life — especially for every day in this crazy year!

For instance, the Survivalist Guide’s Module 6 concerns homeopathy used during epidemics. And, yes — for you in Lake Tahoe — the plague is addressed.

So, here’s your remedy for this week:

For the very, very early stages of the plague, as the hallmark bruised, tired feeling begins, Baptisia tinctoria 30C is generally used every hour until the symptoms reduce.

But there are 11 other homeopathic medicines for the plague discussed and laid out. So, this is by no means a full instruction on considering plague. The full course teaches everything I gathered in my extensive, years-long research.

Plus, I’ve also curated a Survivalist Kit — a collection of the most needed remedies during unusual events — available only to students who have taken the course.

Look, it’s natural that we sometimes rest on our laurels. We assume that life will continue on as it did the day before — uneventfully.

Then years like 1918, 2001 or 2020 occur, and all bets are off. We all-too-abruptly are forced to realize that emergency services can easily be stretched too thin. We must face the fact that we must be able to care for ourselves and our families with no guarantee of help at all — aside from our education and homeopathy.

But there’s no need to be afraid. Not when you have tools.

If this year has taught us anything, it’s that now is the time to prepare. And if I can be so bold, my magnum opus, The Survivalist Guide to Homeopathy, is one of a kind.

If you know of any other educational homeopathy product like this, whether it’s similar in nature or more complex, I want to hear about it.

Why? Because maybe someone else has done more research with more in-depth knowledge than I have.

But so far, I don’t think so.

I actually believe that along with the right mindset, this is all you’ll need to be ready for the unthinkable.

You’ll also be ready for commonplace events and conditions that can occur at any time — pregnancy and delivery, insomnia, arthritis and much, much more.

To put it simply: having compiled this comprehensive guide helped prepare me even further. I am ready for anything medical, and you can be, too.

My goal is to prepare you for “clickbait” so that it has no power over you, because you lack a propensity for fear. Instead, you have the confidence that only competence can bring.

And if the days seem dark to others, YOU can, as always, pass on the good news of homeopathy and bring light to yourself, family and others.

Warmly,

P.S. Here is that Link again to the Infographic a great addition to your homeopathic library: Duty and Responsibility.

I am a homeopath with a worldwide practice working with families and individuals via Zoom. I'm also a teacher and most importantly, a mom who raised my now-adult children depending on homeopathy over the last 31 years. I lived decades of my life with food intolerances, allergies, and chemical sensitivities until I was cured with homeopathy, so I understand pain, anxiety, and suffering. You may feel that your issues are more severe or different than anyone else’s, but I have seen it all in my practice and in my work in India. My opinion is that nothing has come close to the reproducible, safe and effective results that my clients, students and I have achieved with homeopathy.

Call today and learn how homeopathy might just be the missing piece in your health strategy.

Homeopathy doesn't "treat" an illness; it addresses the entire person as a matter of wholeness that is an educational process, not a medical one. Joette believes that the advice and diagnosis of a physician is often in order.
