Travis, the Teenager, Loves Homeopathy

“Sweet!” crowed Travis, the 16-year-old, as he rose up with renewed strength.

Just hours ago, Travis had been suffering from a 103-degree fever, pounding headache and relentless nausea. After three doses of Belladonna 30C and a much-needed nap, this pale, emotional child was made whole.

Since it was Saturday night, this meant he would be able to go to his school dance.

His parents had no reservations.

They know from years of using homeopathy that when the remedy is correct, there is no need for a relapse.

Regardless of the intensity, they knew their son had recovered fully.

When properly administered, homeopathy is an unparalleled form of medication. It matters not that it is 200 years old, nor that it is accepted as the norm in England, Germany, France, South America and India. What matters to Travis and millions of others throughout the world is that it works.

How can something so inexpensive (under $10) and readily available make such a difference in a high fever or any illness?

The biological law behind homeopathy is well-founded. It has been shown clinically for the last 200 plus years to treat illnesses such as the one Travis suffered — without side effects and within relatively short order.

The stimulus, or homeopathic remedy, is determined by the presenting symptoms. The symptoms are not treated.

Instead, the person is treated and the symptoms (the cold, flu, etc.) simply melt away. If instead an antibiotic had been administered, Travis might have experienced a false sense of wellness, propped up by powerful drugs that have side effects as long as his arm.

Most likely the head pain would develop into repeated episodes of the same over a period of months. This is common in teenage ailments that have been suppressed by antibiotics, analgesics and the like.

Belladonna 30C was the remedy his parents chose when the fever was high. His eyes had a glassy look, and the accompanying head pain was severe.

This is the cluster of symptoms that need to be present for Belladonna to do its curative work.

If the fever had been low, with chills and presented in an irritable, over-indulged teen, the remedy choice would likely have been Nux vomica 30C.

If the child had a headache with fever and was fractious and demanding, one might consider Chamomilla 30C

Do you see how pathology-definitive and person-specific the choice must be?

Had an antibiotic been prescribed for a teen who would otherwise do well with Chamomilla, the infection might be subdued, but we would be left with the irritable teen.

Is it no wonder that parents who use homeopathy find that their children are often less disruptive to the family after the well-chosen remedy is administered?

This holds true for other behavioral issues as well.

Homeopathy’s role in the health of teens offers more than meets the eye. A medicine that aborts colds and flu and resolves the accompanying emotional chaos is the role of a healthy medical model.

Yet Travis doesn’t need to be convinced of the ability of homeopathy to do the job.

His only worry is how to convince his parents to let him borrow the car for the dance.

I am a homeopath with a worldwide practice working with families and individuals via Zoom. I'm also a teacher and most importantly, a mom who raised my now-adult children depending on homeopathy over the last 31 years. I lived decades of my life with food intolerances, allergies, and chemical sensitivities until I was cured with homeopathy, so I understand pain, anxiety, and suffering. You may feel that your issues are more severe or different than anyone else’s, but I have seen it all in my practice and in my work in India. My opinion is that nothing has come close to the reproducible, safe and effective results that my clients, students and I have achieved with homeopathy.

Call today and learn how homeopathy might just be the missing piece in your health strategy.

Homeopathy doesn't "treat" an illness; it addresses the entire person as a matter of wholeness that is an educational process, not a medical one. Joette believes that the advice and diagnosis of a physician is often in order.
