The holiday season might as well be synonymous with the traveling season. As I write this, I’m preparing to leave shortly for an extended trip to India to continue my homeopathic studies.

As you can imagine, I’m beyond thrilled to learn from homeopaths in India, a country that fully embraces the restorative power of homeopathy. My preparations have made me think though of some of the discomforts caused by travel. As you might imagine, homeopathy has an effective and gentle solution for travel woes!

Fear of flying

Ambra grisea 30

Anacardium 30

Argentum nitricum 30

On the day of the flight, take these remedies one after another on the hour (i.e., Ambra grisea at 10, Anacardium at 11, Argentum nit. at 12) and continue throughout the flight or until improved. If the fear begins the day before, start then. Allow at least two rounds to get up and running, so schedule accordingly.

Jet lag

Check out my previous post on this subject here. Also, drinking plenty of water with Bioplasma in it is a great way to stay hydrated while giving your cells the nutrients they need.

Sinus problems and headache from flying

Kali Bic 30: Take 4 tablets one hour before the flight and then every 2 hours thereafter if necessary to help with a feeling of sinus congestion.

Kali Mur 6x: Dissolve this cell salt in water and sip every few minutes to help with altitude adjustment and congestion.

Here’s wishing you happy and comfortable travels with homeopathy. Stay tuned to the blog, as I’ll keep you tuned in to my travels as well.

Even though I've studied homeopathy for years, I'm continuing my education this month in India. Are you interested in learning more too? On my website store page, I offer many great digital downloads to help you learn to care for your family's health needs yourself at home with homeopathy.

I am a homeopath with a worldwide practice working with families and individuals via Zoom. I'm also a teacher and most importantly, a mom who raised my now-adult children depending on homeopathy over the last 31 years. I lived decades of my life with food intolerances, allergies, and chemical sensitivities until I was cured with homeopathy, so I understand pain, anxiety, and suffering. You may feel that your issues are more severe or different than anyone else’s, but I have seen it all in my practice and in my work in India. My opinion is that nothing has come close to the reproducible, safe and effective results that my clients, students and I have achieved with homeopathy.

Call today and learn how homeopathy might just be the missing piece in your health strategy.

Joette is not a physician and the relationship between Joette and her clients is not of prescriber and patient, but as educator and client. It is fully the client's choice whether or not to take advantage of the information Joette presents. Homeopathy doesn't "treat" an illness; it addresses the entire person as a matter of wholeness that is an educational process, not a medical one. Joette believes that the advice and diagnosis of a physician is often in order.

After a bumpy ride home last week, I’m thrilled to have this information before flying back to school with my newly found fear! Hope it works…thanks Joette!

Any suggestions for motion sickness. I’m thinking of possible turbulence. Thanks!

Dear Joette, thanks for your wonderful blogs and info on flying remedies. will try the congestion ones on next trip. Hope you have a fabulous time in India, and I am sure you will learn so many things. Will you be studying w/ Dr. Ram? if so, please give him my greetings.

On another note, do you have any suggestions for the following? My sister has a cat, that was diagnosed with diabetes earlier in the year, and is now getting shots and a special diet. He has become totally fanatical about food, chewing holes in the cat food bags, and hot dog rolls still in the package, prys lids off cookie tins and has figured out how to lift the flip lid on a trashcan to get to the food inside, endlessly licks empty cat food cans in hopes to find yet another fleck to eat. what to do? If you have time to reply please do, if not, perhaps youcan addeess this matter in a future blog. Happy new year!! love helene

Enjoy your month in India. What a fabulous experience this will be.

Can you tell me if the fear of flying remedy above uses Anacardium occidentale or Anacardium orientale?

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

      Anacardium orientale

  7. Sara Tompkins says:

So, I am getting ready to fly to Cabo for our dear son’s wedding in a few weeks. I have always “suffered” from fear of flying, and often employed drugs to get me through a long flight. No more drugs!
My question is about your “fear” protocol. The three remedies are hard to find as singles, but OHM has the three you recommend as a combination: Ambra grisea,
Anacardium, and Argentum nitricum, all 30c. I’m thinking this is not a coincidence! Will it work the same, and if so, what would the frequency be?
    Thanks!

I live at an elevation of 7000 ft. When my daughter-in-law comes to visit she has severe high altitude headaches and even nausea. It really affects her stay with us. She is improved after a few days but initially she suffers. Electrolyte drinks help but is there a cell salt or homeopathic remedy that will help with this to take before she arrives or while she is here. Thank you so much.

    Great info. Thank you!!!
Q: Do you have your homeopathic remedies checked by hand vs going through the scanning machine at the airport? Any other precautions you take to protect the remedies?

    1. Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH, RSHom(Na) says:

I do have them checked by hand as a precaution. But to be honest, I’ve had many go through inadvertently when a stray bottle was left in my make-up bag and it still worked just fine.
