Tip: It is vital for the health of those who live in cold regions to eat a diet high in good quality fats such as butter, whole raw milk, whole cheese and cod liver oil.
Tip: Ferrum Phos 6X is a wonderful cell salt for colds and flu when there is inflammation. I've always taught that it could be used at the onset of any inflammation, but it can also be used prophelactically. That is, before the need arises. Used in this way, it has proven effective again and again. 4 pills = 1 dose, taken 2 -3 times daily until the flu season is over. Homeopathic remedies are quite safe in 6X potency as long as they are used judiciously.
Tip: The best way to keep from getting any acute illness such as the flu or colds is to keep your constitutional care current. A visit to your homeopath every 6 weeks (if problems remain) is a good rule of thumb.
I am a homeopath with a worldwide practice working with families and individuals via Zoom. I'm also a teacher and most importantly, a mom who raised my now-adult children depending on homeopathy over the last 31 years. I lived decades of my life with food intolerances, allergies, and chemical sensitivities until I was cured with homeopathy, so I understand pain, anxiety, and suffering. You may feel that your issues are more severe or different than anyone else’s, but I have seen it all in my practice and in my work in India. My opinion is that nothing has come close to the reproducible, safe and effective results that my clients, students and I have achieved with homeopathy.
Call today and learn how homeopathy might just be the missing piece in your health strategy.
Joette is not a physician and the relationship between Joette and her clients is not of prescriber and patient, but as educator and client. It is fully the client's choice whether or not to take advantage of the information Joette presents. Homeopathy doesn't "treat" an illness; it addresses the entire person as a matter of wholeness that is an educational process, not a medical one. Joette believes that the advice and diagnosis of a physician is often in order.

Why is eating a diet high in good quality fats a good idea? Why is it only good in cold regions?
I wonder whether I might ask for your opinion?
My fiancee is seeing a homeopath at the moment. The homeopath has told my fiancee NOT to take cod liver oil, because she says that it will interfere with the remedies.
I am quite concerned about this advice because I understand that cod liver oil is very important for good health (my fiancee and I are planning to start having a family after we get married in August next year), and I can see no good reason why it should interfere with the remedies.
If you can offer any advice I should be very grateful.
Many thanks
Conrad
I have never seen cod liver oil interfere with homeopathics. In my opinion this doesn’t hold up. As an honorary board member of the Weston A. Price Foundation, one of the nation’s leading proponent of cod liver oil, I have personally (my family as well) taken cod liver oil for decades along side our homeopathics. So have many of my clients and students. No interference yet.
Dear Sanjib, Eating good quailty fats, sucha s butter and other animal fats is important in all climates. I have submitted and article on the internet that should be available in the next few weeks entitled “BUtter, Butter, Butter and Lard” If you google this and my name, Joette Calabrese, the a cursory explanation will show up.
Meanwhile eat your butter and lots of it.
Conrad, I have never heard of cod liver oil interfering with the effectiveness of homeopathy. In fact, my family and I have taken cod liver oil along with homeopathic remedies for many years as do my clients. Perhaps the reason she was told this is that the cod liver oil she purchased has mint added to it. Mint can indeed antidote the action of a remedy and it is not uncommon to see mint included in the ingredients of cod liver oil. I agree…high quality cod liver oil is very important.
Many thanks for your advice, Joette.
Incidentally, the cod liver oil was Green Pasture’s ‘Cinnamon Tingle’.
With best wishes
Conrad
