Tell him that we want our homeopathy manufacturing pharmacies, practitioners and such to not be singled out under our laws.

Joette, I have appreciated your wisdom and generosity all these years. I have been treating my family, including dogs, homeopathically for a long time often with amazing results.
I do have a request after reading your last post. I know everyone who reads your website is not necessarily on the same page, politically. I would ask that you please have compassion for those of us who feel this election was a painful loss. Please be respectful of all of your readers. The president-elect’s supporters have certainly made their opinions known in the form of protest, and in other ways. This is what makes a democracy work. Extending the hand of compassion – maybe offering a remedy for grief, loss? as well as those you and others have offered. We are not the enemy, we just see the world differently. I hope you and your family enjoy a peaceful healthy Thanksgiving Day.
I don’t believe that those on the streets are grievers and peaceful protesters. They’re destroying property, slinging obscenities and are generally a menace to society, hence need to be treated like tantruming children. Many are paid to be there. ‘Sorry, no compassion here.
Spot on. Your letter addressing health care alternatives was refreshing and helpful. In this current environment where everyone overeacts is getting tiresome. It is leaving today’s cupcake generation without examples of how everything in life does not always go your way and everyone can’t always win. All US citizens need to accept all presidents. I personally was forced to accept health insurance being taken from me and replaced by an inferior government plan I didn’t want. Premium went from $181 a month to a current $2083. Deductible from $1250 year to $13,600. I didn’t go in the corner and cry or destroy another persons property. Instead I accepted that this was my president and looked for alternative health choices that made sense for me.

I am saddened by these responses – I am not a “paid protester” and I am grieving this loss. I personally know many folks like myself who are peaceful people who simply have a different opinion from some folks here. Please do not lump all non-Trump supporters together – as I have certainly not lumped all Trump supporters with the Ku Klux Klan who came out in support of Mr. Trump. I have led and been part of peaceful discussions in my hometown and have certainly sat down with those who oppose my views, calmly and with respect. Again, this is what makes this a democracy – where would “Americans” be today if not for a very messy protest called the Boston Tea Party or the Civil Rights movement or the Women’s Suffrage movement? – among other protests in our very long history.
Madonna, We are not a democracy, we are a republic.
I sympathize with your plight given your peaceful discourse. But please remember that I was not clumping all anti-Trumpers together, simply complaining about those, who in large numbers are acting in a way not unlike disobedient children.

According to history (as I learned it in Philosophy and history classes), Democracy didn’t work in Greece where it was begun in a small community. The “democratic’ part of our process may be considered the election, where the winner gets the post – but regardless of who wins, the law still stands, during and after.

Dear President-Elect Trump:
Thank you for seeking public input. I think everything important in our country is connected to a safe, healthy food supply and solid healthcare. Kids can’t concentrate at school when they feel sick or when they are filled with junk food. Their education suffers. Later, those kids do not make strong service members when they are suffering from diabetes, obesity or autoimmune conditions. Our military suffers. With the growing number of people suffering life-long diseases, our healthcare system truly suffers.
Something that is of the utmost importance to me is medical freedom as well as equal access to alternative medicine, especially homeopathy. Insurance should be re-structured to allow people to opt for alternatives and have those alternatives be covered by insurance. That would save insurance companies so much money! For example, I have personally saved insurance from paying for anti-seizure meds for the rest of my life by getting acupuncture instead. I have saved insurance from paying for asthma medication daily for the rest of my life by treating myself with homeopathy instead. The list goes on and on about surgeries and medications I have been able to avoid. But, this has come at huge financial cost to me because insurance coverage is so narrowly limited. I urge you to reform healthcare to allow more coverage and freedom for these alternatives. I realize that will take time as you must work with Congress. In the meantime, if the Flex Spending Account rules could be changed to allow reimbursement for all these alternatives (especially homeopathic consults and remedies and appointments with functional medicine MDs), it would really help people like me. The Flex Spending Account money is my OWN money anyway that I contribute from every pay check. It wouldn’t cost the government anything to allow me to reimburse myself!

As always you are spot on Joette! I, too would like to see President Trump become an advocate of alternative therapies and homeopathy. Our government has not only suppressed natural healing options and modalities they have colluded with the pharmaceutical companies to attempt to eliminate everything from nutritional suppliments to alternative medical treatments. They have even gone so far as to mandate toxic shots for all school children in California, while taking away religious freedom that this country was founded on. I agree that this needs to change, and Mr Trump is just the one to bring health care back to its roots. I am so grateful that he won the electoin and so proud that we finally had a candidate who is a true patriot. Unlike Hillary Clinton who engaged in pay to play with countries and corporations around the world, Trump has no ties to anyone except the American people. He refused to accept money that would otherwise obligate him to give special treatment to industries such as Big Pharma, pusing their poisons on innocent consumers.. Trump is giving hope to America, and most importantly, health freedom! joette thank you for helping us without you I would have a lot of vet bills with my 14 dogs last week one of my dog was hiding and shivering and a fever so I gave her belladonna for her fever and it helped but she still shivered and hid I looked it up and im freaking out all these things came up like kidney failure Addison disease distemper and so on so I thought some kind of infection not sure what so I gave her some hepar sulphur 200 2xs daily and she stopped shivering fever vanish stopped hiding now all is well thank u for your help
